Today marks the first official day of spring break for me and the other 20,000-plus students that
attend the University of Oregon. And how do I celebrate? With a blog.
This is a special post for me.
It’s special because I am now blogging on my own terms. Since early January, blogging has been an ongoing assignment for my Advanced Public Realtions Advanced Writing class at the U of O. I felt that I would share this information with everyone, because for those who read on a regular basis, there will be some changes in the near future.
I cannot say exactly which direction I will go with this blog. I had the option to terminate my blog all together. But blogging for me is an incentive to stay updated with PR and life in general by combing through the Web. Bloggings allows me to see what is happening the in world of PR and trying to figure out how I fit in – which is increasingly important with graduation in June. With that said, I think readers can still come to expect a general PR theme. But please read on if you see some other topics that are not traditional to a PR blog.
I will be experimenting with new types of posts. And to see whether my experiments are worthwhile, I need some feedback.
So, let’s see where this new blog takes us.
Thanks for reading.
